Maquette Art Fair returns in 2026 with its most ambitious edition yet.
Produced by Maquette Culture Canada, the Art Fair has evolved into a dynamic platform for contemporary art, creative exchange, and cultural discovery. What began as a juried art fair showcasing local, regional and international artists is now expanding into a multi-venue celebration of creativity, connecting artists, collectors, curators, businesses, and communities across Hamilton.
From November 20 to December 4, 2026, visitors will experience exhibitions, installations, artist talks, workshops, special events, and curated programming across multiple venues throughout the city.
The Cotton Factory will continue to serve as the primary hub of activity, joined by a growing network of partner galleries, studios, cultural organizations, and independent creative spaces.
New for 2026, the Maquette Art Fair will introduce the Printmaking Zone, bringing together printmakers, publishers, and print-focused organizations from across the region. Curated by Smokestack Gallery.
Additional programming will spotlight photography, sculpture, fibre arts, digital media, emerging artists, and interdisciplinary contemporary practices.
The Maquette Art Fair strengthens connections between artists and audiences while contributing to Hamilton's growing reputation as a vibrant creative community.
Over the coming months, we will be announcing participating artists, partner venues, special exhibitions, sponsorship opportunities, volunteer roles, and exciting new programming. We invite you to follow along as the 2026 edition takes shape.
Whether you are an artist, collector, arts supporter, business leader, or curious visitor, there has never been a better time to get involved.
Check back regularly for updates—and if your organization is interested in partnering with or sponsoring the Maquette Art Fair we'd love to hear from you.

Maquette Culture Canada envisions Art Fair Hamilton as one of Canada's most exciting annual contemporary art events—a destination where artists, collectors, curators, and creative entrepreneurs gather to exchange ideas, build relationships, and celebrate artistic excellence.
Rooted in Hamilton's growing cultural landscape, the fair creates opportunities for artists to showcase their work, expand their networks, and advance their careers while connecting audiences with exceptional contemporary art.
From emerging voices to established practitioners, Art Fair Hamilton celebrates the breadth and vitality of today's creative landscape.
More than an art fair, it is a city-wide celebration of art, culture, and creative possibility.

Maquette Culture Canada is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
Hamilton is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island (North America) and we recognize that we must do more to learn about the rich history of this land so that we can better understand our roles as residents, neighbours, partners, and caretakers.
